Riding the Menopause Roller Coaster: My Unfiltered Journey

Hey there!

Today's podcast episode is like that cozy chat with a good friend wrapped up in a comfy blanket, sipping your favorite tea. I’m a hot cinnamon Harney’s tea gal, myself.

Why?

Well, because I'm going to share my raw and unfiltered experiences with you as I dive into the world of perimenopause and its follow-up act: menopause.

Now, here's the deal: I'm not a doctor, a therapist, or any kind of medical pro. Nope, I'm just a regular person like you. But you know what I can do? I can talk about it in a way that makes sense, especially when those pesky menopause brain fog moments hit.

Have you ever had one of those days when you couldn't remember the word for something as simple as a lamp?

Yep, me too.

I've been there recently; I called a lamp a "glowing thing in the corner." And let's face it, if you can't laugh about it, you’ll be miserable and might just lose your marbles.

Menopause and its precursor, perimenopause, aren't talked about nearly enough, but that's changing, and I'm here to tell you why. We Gen Xers, like myself, weren't exactly handed a manual for this stuff. But now, we're all about sharing what we know and keeping it real.

No sugarcoating here.

Oh, and a funny side note: if you're in the perimenopause/menopause club, you'll relate to how objects seem to disappear into thin air.

I also want to dive into the spiritual side of menopause because it's phenomenal. Let's appreciate this transition and teach the younger generation to embrace it as a beautiful part of their journey.

Throughout this episode, I'll share some practical tips, including advocating for your health and practicing self-care. I've also discovered some supplements that helped me along the way, but remember, I'm not a doctor, so consult a healthcare professional.

Join me on this adventure as we navigate the waves of menopause, discovering self-love, authenticity, and a renewed sense of self.

You're not alone, my friends, and this journey is a beautiful opportunity for growth and self-discovery.

Let's ride the menopause roller coaster together! Hands up! Laugh, don’t scream, and whatever you do, don’t look down!

Best Regards,

Vicki
