Is Your To-do List Taking The Ta-da Out Of Life?

Are you someone who feels like you have to get it all done now? You have to solve for X now, and when that happens, you’ll feel calm, accomplished, relaxed, like you matter, and have a value that you bring something to this world to have a legacy.

From the minute we're born, our souls will feel excited about being human, and then, reality sinks in usually, after other humans burst our bubble about the ta-da list.

The challenge is integrating the soul with the human self, so life doesn't become one extensive to-do list with little joy.

We have to do the tasks as humans. We do. But we don’t have to add the stress of believing that is where our value comes from.

Exhausting, isn’t it? I know. I’ve been there in this stinking thinking process. A lot, especially when I’m feeling less than compassionate toward myself. Know what I mean?

So, what to do about it?

The more you acknowledge that you're not going to get it all done, the more relaxed you can be about it. No, really, that’s the advice.

"Vicki, it annoys me when you say that."

That's okay, I have no problem annoying you to bring some relaxation to your life or acceptance.

It won’t be all accomplished, but you know what you can do. Learn to be present. You can enjoy checking things off while relaxing.

You are an eternal soul.
