Have you ever walked into a home and thought, this place is so lovely? Conversely, have you walked into a space and thought, oh my goodness, get me out of here?
Have you ever gone shopping and felt drawn to a particular object even though you didn't intend to buy anything at that yard sale, store, or Thrift Shop? I'm not talking about your target trips where you're avoiding life and getting a fill through retail therapy here, I understand those, but this is something different.
What I am talking about is the subject of psychometry.
It’s called psychometry when one reads the history of an object and the path that it's traveled through energy. Everything that we have in this world collects energy, including you. So every object that we have in our life also collects energy along its travels. Just think of how your food gets to you these days. Have you ever stopped and thought of how many hands had to touch that one object before it got into your shopping cart? Is it any wonder that I suggest clearing your groceries before you put them in your car?
We all have the ability to interpret psychometric energy. When you bring your attention to it, it becomes much more apparent. Instead of were you drawn to something because you believe it was the aesthetic qualities, perhaps you were drawn to it because of its energetic qualities.
My partner and I are currently buying a house, and I knew when we walked into the one we have on contract that this is where we are meant to be. Yes, it checked everything on our list and then some, but it was more the feeling of the area that the house is in in addition to the love in the house. It's a fantastic story of manifestation that I will share later. Still, no, my understanding of psychometry and reading the energy of supposably inanimate objects made me trust that this is the place for us. So much so that I can look past the fact that it's going to take 20 minutes to drive for a cup of coffee one way! It's a good thing I have a nice machine at home.
But I digress, join me this week for the podcast on psychometry and learning how to read objects and spaces. It's important because it can also lead to assessing whether a town is good for you, a workplace would be healthy for you, or that dresser you're buying doesn't have any significant Juju on it. Of course, you can clear it, but you want to start on a high level.
This is a fun episode, and I look forward to hearing your feedback.
Ya feel me? Good!
